This is the guide to add BMW CAS4/CAS4+ key with Yanhua Mini ACDP in OBD/ICP mode. Read carefully to know how easy it can be.
BMW CAS4/4+ Add Key via OBD
Connect ACDP programmer to vehicle's OBD port.
Mini ACDP >> BMW >> CAS1–4 >> CAS4/CAS4+ >> OBD Mode >> IMMO/Mileage >> Add Key(Auto Mode) >> Continue
Check system information, such as VIN, mileage, system status and other vehicle information.
Press "Continue".
Detection to ECU is not preprocessed. Please preprogram first.
Press "Continue".
Save original coding data.
Preprocessing ECU system completed.
Back up CAS data file.
Place a working key near the emergency start sensing antenna position (located on the right side of the steering wheel).
Check IMMO information, such as ISN, VIN, etc., and press OK.
Select a free key channel marked FF.
Place the new blank key near the emergency start sensing antenna.
New key generation is complete.
Add key to BMW CAS4/4+ bench
*User can click "Help" to check the connection diagram.
Remove the CAS4 module from the vehicle. It is under the steering wheel.

- Installation
Install the copper pillar.
Align the test points D1 to D4. Press down the CAS4 interface board vertically. As long as the four test points are aligned, all test points will be aligned.
Lock the board with the copper pillar and PCB lock, and connect everything.
Power on the ACDP.

Mini ACDP >> BMW >> CAS1–4 >> CAS4/CAS4+ >> ICP Model >> ICP 9S12XEP100(Mask 5M48H/1N35H)
(You can always click Help to find out where the Mask ID is.)
IMMO >> Read CAS4 EEPROM >> OK
Passed pin detection. If detection fails, check and clean the test points.
Press OK.
Check the VIN number and CAS4 version. Press OK.
Save the original DFLASH data.
Successfully read data!
Mode1: Add Key (with Work Key)
Connect the BAV adapter and insert the blank key.
Select the original DFLASH data.
Select the unused key channel that shows FF.
Remove the blank key from the coil and insert the working key instead.
Vehicle information has been read out.
Remove the current key and insert the new key. Press "OK".
Programming key successful!
You can now put the CAS4 module back into the vehicle. And insert the new key into the learning key slot. Start the car with the new key.
Don't forget to save the CAS data. This data contains the information of the old key and the new key.
